Current lead time? - by: Pileot

Can someone "in the know" maybe update the website's lead times? Currently it states 4-5 weeks which, honestly, I think is somewhat optimistic considering its Christmas + 20% off black friday + TLJ, Im sure the elves at SaberForge are super busy...

I don't mind waiting, it will get here when it gets here, but if someone could update the current lead times so those of us who made an order around Black Friday can know when we should expect a new saber.

This is not a "When is my saber going to be ready" post, it will be ready when its ready, but rather a general request into what realistic lead times currently are because, yeah, 5 weeks is a dream lol.

So in the process of researching all the stuff I need for my custom saber I came across the timing shims, the idea of it makes sense, however, I dont know how they're actually utilized? Can someone explain to me how to use them? Also, this is the saber I want to make, so really,only the emmiter/switch section joint must be spot on

Hey anyone that can help!

I'm having trouble buying from the Saberforge website. Everytime I enter my information and click confirm, it says order being processed, but then sends me back to the credit card part and says "Card was declined" in a red box. I have contacted my bank, and checked my credit card, and everything is fine. I have contacted Saberforge and am waiting for a response, but I was wondering if someone else has had similar issues. I'm using a Visa card, but if I could use Paypal that would be even better. However, I can't find any option for Paypal.

when using the sabercore 3.0 editor, BE SURE TO CLOSE THE PROGRAM BEFORE UNPLUGING YOUR SABER!
i have fried my board twice and had to send it back for replacement. don't make the same mistake i did.

Is there any way to get a larger blade? 36"/37" seems to be the ideal length, however with the way they're seated in the emitter, they end up totaling less than 34", which is decent, but not perfect (Im 6ft and a heavy practitioner of Djem So and Makashii so the additional few inches of reach really do help as well as the larger size looks a bit more proportionate with my body)

Got it in today, its very sexy. RED with Saber core 3.0 with rumble. So here's a few pictures for you. if you need any specific detail shots let me know. I plan to install a red button and glass eye soon enough, but here it is out the box. I had them change the covertech knob to brass.

:evil: Hello everyone. You know the story.. life long fan, first time builder.. although, I did already convert a blade builder soundboard, but the speaker connection broke as I was trying to fit it into an ultra sabers hilt... But it's why I started with a cheapo, for fear of destroying a high priced board was too great. So I decided to get the sabercore 2.5 USA off eBay and try my luck. So here's my questions.. ( I do apologise if this has been discussed already, just know have been looking through the fourm..)

1. Does anyone have any sort of manual on the 2.5? I can find 2.0 information, is that going to be the same? As I have learned the 2.5 has both crimson and viridium.

2. So I've read crimson has blade lock up, while viridium has blaster block, or vice versa, so does the 2.5 have both? Is it one per sound font? As in I would need to switch fonts to use the other?

And 3. The board itself has these, what look like to me, extra copper connections that I haven't seen anyone mention. Could they be accent led terminals?? Or am I living in a dream world? Haha

Anyways, thanks for any help you guys can give. I've been sitting in the stands watching people build these immaculate hilts with incredible skill.. and now I hope to do the same, and one day earn the title of "saber Smith". But we all gotta start somewhere lol.

Hi there!
I am interested in the legacy monarch saber. I've seen reviews of the hilt where this one part of the body was black, unlike the brass-ish color like it has on the saberforge shop pictures.
I'll attach a picture of the way i would want it to be, so please let me know if the actual hilt has this gold/brass coloured part.

Recently bought the Emerald Knight Saber only with the blade with the 12v, LED quick charge add-ons (warrior tier essentially). I later decided to buy the sabercore 3.0 by itself to try and add it to the rest of the saber. Probably should have paid more to get the plug-and-play to make life easy, but I opted to solder instead.

Upon looking at the soundboard, I noticed a whole set of spots of potential places to connect the wires to. I'm also uncertain where to connect the soundboard to the saber correctly, I'm assuming it needs to be connected to the switch (it's been years since I've done hardwiring). From browsing the forums it doesn't look like there's a manual or any video elsewhere documenting how to manually install the sabercore 3.0.

Has anyone manually installed theirs or know of a good guide to follow?

okay, so i'm only recently able to get this together, and i was wondering how i could possibly get together a saberstaff, aka the double-bladed saber. i'm still wanting to be able to use them separately but able to connect them for a sweet sith saberstaff, any advice?

Hello,

I am a new Saberforge owner. I got my new Prodigy blade in the Champion tier as a gift, and after much fun I tested out the blade plug. When I went to put the blade in again, I noticed the retention screw was missing. I have looked for a few hours and have now given up my search. I want to purchase a new one.

I am aware that the sizing of the retention screw is 5/64, yet I am unaware as to what the length of the screw is. I have searched a bit online and in various forums, but the posts are rather dated and I just wanted to make sure. Again, I have a Prodigy blade, champion tier. Any help folks?
