So today has been the 4th time my champion ASP would not make any sounds when turning it on. Only turns on the light and motor but doesn't even flicker. When I reflash it, it will start working as normal again and I'll need to redo all my sensitivity setting. What is the issue? Has anyone else experienced this? I will be waving it about listening to my wooooos and wuuuuuuus and turn it off and later turn it on still works fine and then some other time I turn it on just no sound or blade effects just a steady light just like a flashlight til I reflash it. I checked out the internals and everything is wrapped up and looks fine to me unless it may be something inside or maybe just a firmware issue?

Help! No Power, 6 Month Old ,soundboard 3.0 - by: Domfletch1986
Good Morning,
I was hoping I would get some advice / help on this forum or perhaps a response from the Saberforge team on this issue who are yet to reply to my emails.
I have a tier 3 prodigy light saber with a 3.0 soundboard, and was purchased October last year (so around 6 months old).
This item is practically in mint condition and only been turned on a handful of times as is used as a display ornament and the odd cosplay event.
Yesterday, I went to power on the device and there was no power, when pressing the button the device did not respond. I attempted to recharge the device and nothing occurs. No flashing light indicating charging, nothing, it literally appears bricked. As the item is well within warranty I haven't even attempted in removing the c-clip to examine the battery.
Now, I a UK based, so is returning this to Saberforge for fixing even viable? Given the costs I will incur here, simply just paying for all postage and packing there and back. Also what about the import and handling fees? will I have to cover these again, as these are around $100 at this side alone.
Needless to say I could probably fix this myself, but given the amount of money I have given saberforge for this product, for the current alleged very poor return, I'm needless to say extremely disappointed and would really optimally seek a fix from them.
If anyone could advise on the next course of action and most 'cost effective' course of action I would be greatly appreciated.

Obi-Wan Sabers - MK1 with insane Crystal Chamber - by: Jas-Ot
This has been a little over a year in the making, but finally got the Crystal Chamber in for my MK1. Chamber is made by Rudy Pando, in VERY small runs. I removed the default inserts and crystal and replaced with 3d printed Brass parts and a hand selected quartz crystal.
I can finally install it now.

K, so, I have no idea if this was placed in the right category or not, but it was the closest one to this topic, so to whoever is in charge of making sure that posts are put in the right place, please feel free to move it to the correct place if necessary.
Anyways! So, after getting my first ASP saber (and all the time between waiting to order as well as the wait for it to be made/shipped) I've had a lot of time to come up with a bunch of different designs for lightsabers, and once I got my own saber, I decided that I had to get another one (specifically ASP, because I'm already planning on getting a bunch of other sabers. For instance, I already have what I need to get a Bastille staff in my shopping cart. I'm just waiting until I get paid.)
Now, I'm a HUGE fan of the RWBY series by Rooster Teeth (I currently hold it on the same level as my fandom for Star Wars) and my favorite character in it is Weiss Schnee. (And it's because of why I relate to her character that makes me love RWBY so much.) Weiss has this cool, yet simple, sword/saber thing called "Myrtenaster", and ever since the thought came in my mind, I've decided that I'm going to make and purchase a lightsaber version of her weapon. (I.e. a "Weiss-aber". XD)
I am also going to wait until the new parts come out before I finalize the design/purchase the saber because, you know, more options. (Plus, there's a pommel in the next wave that I am definitely going to use.) But until then, I was wondering if there were any fellow RWBY fans out there who might also have any idea's on how to make this saber? Like I said, I've worked with different designs on ASP for quite a while, and as soon as I get home from work today, I'll post some pics of the design that I've got so far. Also, for the claw type things on it, I had an idea. I was thinking about doing the same thing that someone else did with some "Sith saber sai's", where they attached the two different claws that SaberForge has to offer together somehow, and I was wondering what one would need to do something like that? Also, which emitters are compatible with claws? Thanks!!!!! (Also, this will be a great excuse to get an Arctic White lightsaber. XD)

Bane Mk2 LED screw? - by: axelstriker
Hey guys,
I'm disassembling my Initiate-tier Bane hilt and getting ready to install electronics in it, but I can't seem to find an LED retention screwhole or screw. There are screws on each lateral side to hold the shroud on, one on the ventral side of the emitter for the grip spine, and one on the dorsal side for the blade, but I don't see any for the LED. Is that a mistake I'm making? Does one of the other screws serve that purpose as well?

So... It occurs to me, and correct me if im wrong...
It is feasible to simply apply colored films/filters at the bottom of most saber blades in order to change the color? Between the blade and the LED's. Seems like a 'cheap' way to get color changing. Maybe a small slit where you can get up to 3 thin colored disks that you can swap out and combine to create different colors.
Has anyone seen this done? It just seems a little obvious, and easier. Granted, i am a complete noob to the topic and maybe theres a few things im missing (Heat? )

MY hero segment for my ls6 came with some bubbles and when I tried to clean it up, the steel wool went to far, hopely one of you guy not using you hero side can do a swap for some of the V2 segment or parts of the kit I didn't use, or sell it to me..I'd be more than happy to thrown in the damaged hero segment as well.

A LS6 build- Completed. - by: Vechaljian
Everything is here, and ready to rock, be working on the LS6 hero here, all the parts are here, I cleaned up my work table and got everything ready.
I plan on using the heat sink solution TcSS, Specs are as follows, Goth-3d crystal reveal (gullwing), Prizm 5.1, 18650 tcss 10amp high drain. 24mm hi bass speaker, rumble motor, 1.3mm RCP, on/off switch. I decided to go with Lime/green/Deep red Lux( I did have to drill a center hole, glad I have a drill press) If I don't like the Deep Red FOC I'll mix it to yellow. I'm using my normal 30awg wire for the build, on quick connect will be at the led, to make it easy to change if I don't like the color mix.
For the gap in the Wings I'm planning on making a cover to fit inside the reveal, area to hide shine through when not desired, and the activation box I'm still not sure how to make the cover lock a little tighter, but I will. anyway, some starting picts.

So I was finally watching TLJ on blu ray yesterday, and it allowed for putting it on pause when young Kylo is using his blue lightsaber. From what I can see, it looks a lot like the main part of his black/sith version afterwards. How do you like it ? And I was wondering if anyone knew if in the new ASP part there would be what's necessary to build one, or if this version was in the plans of SF ?

The time has come... I've been lurking 'round the forums for about a year and now I have a few questions to ask before I finally order my first saber. ![:P]( ":P")
So, I've been leaning towards the disciple, weathered, black stingray leather, indigo, Champion Tier w/ SC3. Sadly, it's only available for pre-order right now, so I decided to go for the acolyte instead.
I've heard of people requesting things in the order comments section and was wondering what things I can request.
For example:
Is it possible to choose what fonts to have on your saber when it is ordered? I'm going for Ominous, Cyber Assassin, and Heirloom, but those three aren't on the sound font selection menu.
And, can I request the way I want it to be weathered? I don't want CUSTOM weathering like shattered, I just want it to be standard weathering that looks somewhat meanicing and dark, like this image. (not mine)

Finally, all sabers come with V4 Infinity Edge blades, is it possible to request that it comes with a purple day blade instead?

Clearly neopixel/string blades are the future. I got to see one recently and it really adds a lot of features that LED's cannot compete with... Brightness, RGB, blaster effects, scrolling effects, better flash on clash, etc.
I was hoping this thread could help others get updates on when/if SF will be offering neopixel or how a SF customer could easily get a third party to upgrade their hilt to support a neopixle blade.

Brass Covertec Wheel/Blade Plug Request - by: Commander Juice
Hey, so I was thinking about the design that I wanted on my saber and had some questions.
Are requests like "brass blade plug and covertech wheel instead of standard" accepted in the ordering comments, or would I have to ask the Customs Shop? Would it cost extra, and if so, a rough estimate on how much?
And I'm assuming that requesting brass buttons is Customs Shop for sure.
(by buttons I mean the two circle things where the recharge port/switch are)
